History

1957

BUFFALO is founded by chairman. The factory is established.
The first cookware exclusive store in Taiwan opens its door.

1969

The first stainless steel pressure cooker is manufactured in Southeast Asia.

1980

The world’s first traditional wok made with stainless steel and aluminum is manufactured.
Production of multilayer cookware begins.

1982

Production of cookware made with space-age composite metal begins.
BUFFALO products earn wide acclaim in Japan.

1985

BUFFALO awarded SG Production Certification from Japan.

1986

Pressure cooker awarded Safety Certification in Japan.

1988

BUFFALO assists in setting up the acclaimed CNS (Chinese National Standard)
for pressure cookers in Taiwan.

1990

Factory is moved to Malaysia, to expand the territory of South-East Asia.

2001

Ever-grow is established and BUFFALO Clad is introduced.

2002

Awarded IH.CH.SG factory certification from Japan Overseas.

2003

The Superbrand Award is given to BUFFALO

2005

Enco rice bowl was launched. BUFFALO establishes branch office in China.

2007

One-piece technology is introduced.
